Crystal Intelligence, a top blockchain intelligence firm, has teamed up with Banxa, a trusted payments infrastructure provider offering embedded crypto solutions. The partnership comes as the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) releases a consultation paper. The proposed framework says that companies offering certain digital assets must get an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) if the digital assets are financial products. They may also need to comply with the AML/CTF regime, which requires robust compliance technology, such as the solutions Crystal offers.
