Galaxy Digital Holdings Ltd.  today announced that Tony Paquette will be joining the firm as Chief Financial Officer, replacing Alex Ioffe, who will become a Senior Advisor on 1 January 2025.

Tony has a lot of experience in finance, which will help us improve our operations and grow our business around the world. We are happy to have Tony on our executive team as we continue to grow.

Mr. Paquette has over 25 years of experience in financial services and fintech. He was Chief Financial Officer of Point72 for over four years, leading the firm's global finance, treasury, broker relations, real estate and facilities organisations. Before that, he was a Business Unit Leader at fintech company Social Finance (SoFi). He oversaw the company's treasury, market risk, and regulatory and financial operations. He also helped expand the company internationally. Before SoFi, Mr. Paquette was a managing director at JP Morgan Chase for nearly a decade. He held roles including portfolio manager and global head of funding and liability management. Before that, he was a managing director at Bank of America.

Mr. Paquette serves on the boards of Scholars of Finance, Junior Achievement of New York, and the Concussion Legacy Foundation. He is also an active advisor to several fintech startups.
